Auntie Kris arrived for the Sahuaro High School Class of 1988 Reunion and got some baby time in the first night:
Iris was off to a grumpy start of the day on the 4th, but happier after she found the perfect outfit:
Jasmine is getting much better with the baby and will lay down next to her when she's sleeping and check on her if she cries (and get a few licks in). Still, I often ask her, "Why the long face?!"
We had a fun 4th of July over at the Keeler's house and got to see Kris' parents and her kids, Owen and Oliver (Garth didn't make the trip this time).
Owen had fun making gross things with Play-Doh, and everyone was excited to meet Iris.
We were just about to try letting Iris swim for the first time, but a thunderstorm dashed those plans. Still, the Keeler's have a great view for monsoon season!
The next day, Lisa and Kris went to the 20th reunion, looking fabulous, and I waited out in the hallway with Iris. Kris and Lisa had fun but didn't really see that many people that they hoped to. Kris sneaked dinner out to me, so it wasn't bad at all. We left early in a heavy rainstorm. Iris did great at the hotel, but made up for it later by being extra fussy!
