We made the rounds to our close neighbors with our little ladybug in tow. Her haul was a carton of goldfish and an apple (what she doesn't know won't hurt her, right?).
We have had so much fun lately as Iris' vocabulary expands everyday - well into the hundreds of words. She knows most of the alphabet from her refrigerator magnets and understands a VERY important word, "Later" which we used quite frequently to our advantage - like when she wants to go outside before we've had our coffee in the morning or when she wants to eat the grapes we've put in the cart at the grocery store. Most helpful!

Short-lived favorite activity of throwing dirt from the yard onto the patio:

We had a blast with Grandma when she came down for a visit while Jeff was in California to start his new job. I'm not sure who was more pooped out!
We had a cooling trend that brought an unusually early couple of below freezing nights but Iris always likes to be outside so bundle up we did:
