New year, new digs, oh baby!

Well, we've been quite remiss in posting entries lately. This is due to being busy finding a new house in Michigan, selling our house in Tucson and oh yeah, for the few of you out there who don't know we are also expecting our second baby on July 14, 2010. We are so looking forward to our new arrival and how he or she may be different or similar to Iris. We have been very lucky on the house front too as we listed our house 3 days before we left for Michigan to house hunt and had a good offer before we came back (only 2 weeks later)! The best part is not having to keep the house super clean and vacate for any showings.

You may notice there are not too many pics from the trip. This is because Iris dropped my camera and it is now broken with the lens stuck out.

Here's a sneak peak at baby #2!

Iris' favorite activity was looking at Grandma Hoffman's animal figurines. Sadly, there was more than one casualty.

All bundled up and having fun (the mittens were the first thing to go):
This will be our new house in Birmingham, MI. It is in a great neighborhood and walking distance to the elementary school, small lake with ice-skating in the winter, a small river, two walking trails, a huge park and not too far to the town center with lots of shops and eating, etc. We hope that many of our desert rat friends may want to escape the heat in the summer and come check it out.

Thanks Courtney.

Michigan is nice and green in the summer!

We will still be coming back a few times/year to visit my parents in Chandler and will definitely include a trip to see our Tucson friends at maybe the library and zoo!
