Another first - s'mores!

Who knew, they both liked it.

the scene

Iris the fish fly whisperer.  She caught about eight of them to use as bait to go fishing (a third first, if you're counting) which made no one happier than Uncle Pat who was more than happy to oblige her requests.

The big one she caught after about 15 seconds.  As it turned out the fish flies were even better than the worms from the store. It was a fishing extravaganza as all the cousins got in on the action too. We had a full bucket of tiny fish to throw back when we were done!

Miles was much more interested in driving the boat than fishing.

Fireworks excitement on the dock.  The neighbors up the beach put on quite a show.  They had boxes and boxes with a remote ignitor and everything. 

This video is more about the audio than the pictures as the fireworks were the fourth new thing of the week!

Then we went miniature golfing just to add another new experience to the mix.  It was a pirate themed golf park.  We told Iris we were going to play golf, after about three holes she asked when we were going to play.  Clearly the concept was lost on her.
