It's the weirdest thing - it simultaneously seems like so long ago that this little baby came to be and completely changed our lives but also as if it was only a few months ago that we finally got to meet her. We can't remember what life was like before Iris and wouldn't want to as it has been truly the most amazing experience! Oh the hours that have been wiled away studying every inch of such a small being, from the new, chubby, gripping fingers, the first hint of a smile, the elbow dimples, the brow furrow, the happy nose crinkle and eye squint... We just marvel at the changes and new skills. Oh what she has to teach us - can't wait. Happy Birthday Iris, we LOVE you!Wednesday, June 17, 2009
HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!
