Jeff and I finally made it out to our first adult concert since pre-baby days. We saw the Meat Puppets who are an Arizona-grown live sensation from both of our college days. My parents made the trip down to Tucson to babysit and we hit the town with Jojo and Arofan and stayed through the final encore.

We planned to have a staycation in Phoenix while housesitting for my parents but Jeff was busy working most of the time and Iris came down with a super high fever of 104.3 that warranted our first late night, 3-1/2 hour emergency room visit. The diagnosis was the common ear infection. Since getting on antibiotics, after tracking down a 24-hour pharmacy at 2:00AM, the fever is gone but she is still a little wobbly and understandably occasionally irritable.
