Halloween Night

We had our annual Halloween Party and even though the weather wasn't as mild as the two previous years it didn't put a damper on things. Well except for those her were sick or too tired from working outside to make it. It didn't slow down Iris and Miles from trick or treating though. They even outlasted the older cousins!

Pondering her pumpkin design

Curious Miles!  He got a homemade curious Miles shirt added to a store bought monkey costume.  He was too too cute, seriously!!!

Grrrr!

Dancing with George
Bro and sis
Beautiful Allison as Katniss from The Hunger Games (pre-braid)

Katniss, Rubik's cube, Mad Hatter ( Kathy's next career is surely costume designer!)

Britiish Witch (didn't get Bill before he lost his moustache and hat, shoot)

A frequent sighting - leopard prowling along the back of our couch

Outside a black cat theme

We ended up with a lot of pumpkins this year and were feeling uninspired, except for the eye pumpkins on the mantel which by the way were the hardest pumpkins known to man!  Thus here are our pumpkins a la kids - Clockwise from top left - Iris' scary one with big teeth and 2 sets of eyes and eyebrows, Jasmine, cat and Miles' crabby pumpkin

Bird eye jack-o-lanterns mantel with a few choice old halloween pics

Trick or Treating

Miles asking for more candy not long before his hugest ( a full hour) tantrum when trying to go to bed.  So is no dinner, animal crackers, a Twix bar not a good combo for a toddler?

Ghostly me
The cleanup crew the next morning.  Seriously, Iris announced that it was time to clean up toys and got Miles to, then swept and mopped.

I had to let Miles clean the windows as he wanted to mop to.  Woo hoo!
