Last Month's Arizona Trip

We got back to Arizona last month to see family and friends and escape the winter!

You may notice not too many pictures of Jeff as most were taken with his iPhone.  I got one too as an early Birthday gift this week so hopefully I'll reverse the role.  Also sadly, much from our Tucson portion as Jeff's phone had died and we forgot the charger and the indoor ones I tried to get the night of our party were all blurry, rats!  They are vivid in my mind though and we felt really lucky to have so many old friends make the trip out to see us at Elizabeth and Mike's.  Thanks!

This was by far the easiest trip thus far with the kids from the flying, outings and everything, so yeah!!

Sprinklers the day we arrived

Pool fun for everyone but me as oh yeah, I had sliced my toe open a couple of days before we went and had to get stitches - boo!  I did get them out while we were on vacation though and did take a dip our last day.

Intense bedtime reading with Grandma

Miles acting silly out at lunch

If you didn't believe me, here's the video proof (this is the shortened version).  Lately Miles has a tendency to talk and talk when it is time to eat and by the time he's ready to start eating everyone else is done.  It could be worse.

Victory leap after throwing a ball at a water target at the science museum

Big Pink Chair!

Surprising bubble art.

Going to the zoo...

As close as Iris got to the giraffes

So I ended up having to feed them and yes, the tongue felt very slimy!  Miles did feed them one little piece and looked unsure about the whole thing.

Brave Miles touching the squishy stingrays (Iris passed on that one too).

Giant Gila Monster
Hello!
We found this cool super shaded park near my parent's house and had a little picnic.  In the middle of our visit the place was mobbed by six bosses of kids on field trip.  It was pretty crazy so we had to take refuge over here in the little kid play area for awhile.  At least we were safe in the firetruck!

Playing with Elizabeth's husband Mike and baby Caroline in Tucson.  They were super hosts putting all four of us up as well as Kimone.   They even had a Mexican bbq and a bunch of people up one night.  Those were some yummy micheladas, Mike!  It was so fun staying with your little sweet family!
