She is officially 3' tall and moved into a big girl bed last week. We knew we needed to as she barely fit in the pack-n-play diagonally when we were up at the cottage and likewise Miles has outgrown his moses basket. So with fingers crossed we proceeded.
We expected some challenges but she hasn't had any problems going to sleep nor has she come out of her room although she has opened the door a couple times after waking up. She wanted to sleep in the new bed the night we got it from Teri and a few days later asked me to have Jeff help to move her crib out. It feels kind of bittersweet how fast she is growing up but we couldn't be prouder of her.

Another milestone: Iris started being able to read small words about a month ago and we finally got a short video of it.

I LOVE the videos!!! I love when she tells the dog that its her bed and when she spits ber binky out. Also, very good reading Iris!!!
