Grandma & Grandpa Arrive for Christmas!

Miles decided to stay up way later than normal so he could meet Grandma and Grandpa for the first time when they arrived. Maybe he knew they were coming. He got to have all the attention as Iris was asleep.

The next day Iris and Grandma made sugar cookies. I had added baking soda instead of baking powder to the dough when I made it so we had to add some extra water to roll them out: Everyone got to help decorate and Iris would eat any of the sprinkles that didn't land on a cookie:
Grandpa and Grandma bedazzled with Iris' sticker earrings. The luminarias lit on Christmas Eve to help Santa find our house. Iris helped shovel snow in the bags.
Christmas Eve in their new jammies from Grandma: The back side (the trap door really works and was utilized for checking diaper status):
Waiting at the top of the stairs to make sure Santa has been here and gone ( a Hoffman tradition):Doing a new puzzle with Grandpa with Santa's cookie crumbs and milk cup in the foreground:Grandpa and Miles his little look-a-like:Jeffy with his new hat and picture:
